I want to put an emblem on the top radiator support that says "BUICK". This is for the turbo car.. The trunk BUICK emblem seems like a good candidate..
huh?? Please elaborate on this new dist........ Have you considered laser cutting the word buick into the support? It probably wouldnt be too expensive.
Mark Burton makes a distributor relocation kit for chevys to move it to the front of the engine like a Buick.. I'm sure I can find a nice BUICK emblem for a few bucks and not even remove a bolt to install it..
This is the same one I have: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vintage-Buick-GRILLE-EMBLEM-logo-1384167-/120648166003 7 1/2" long, 1" high. Well-worn, needs cleaned and the black background repainted. $5 to your door. Has 2 mounting studs, and 1 locating pin on the back.
most of the 80's g body regals said buick on the right side of the trunk lid. im sure you could find one in a bone yard and there on by double sided tape so all you need to remove it is a scraper or razor blade. i might even have one laying around. ill try and check it out this weekend.

I would use the Buick letters as mentioned. I have a set on my tool box that were NOS and I stuck them on years ago. I think they are mid eighties Buick big car emblems. Should be interesting to see what comes up
