Im not Christian, I dont celebrate Christmas, but its Merry Christmas.

I dont think I know anyone or have met anyone who prefers it the other way.

    Merry Christmas.

Good thread! I like how those who don't follow the season for the Christian reason aren't bothered by it either. It just shows how the real reason behind the sensorship of Christ has nothing to do with his teaching, but everything to do with money making lawsuits and the like. As far as being rejected and hated for proclaiming his name.... well.... thats prophecy fulfillment! Merry Christmas:TU:

Due to recent family issues here at home I have decided not to do Christmas here. I know its the celebration of the birth of Jesus and when the day comes I will say a birthday prayer. My beef is the commercialism of the holiday. I cringe whenever the TV say "BUY YOUR LOVED ONE" this or that just because its Christmas. People are expected to go into debt buying gifts for people that they really don't care about and probably don't care for them. Call me Grinch if you like, I don't mind.
In line with the thread I personally do not mind Merry Christmas . Happy Holiday or Seasons Greetings. What does get my goat is when people write Merry Xmas. Theres no X in Christ.

Just think of the backlash if they called the Menorah a "Holiday candle holder"!

I generally say Merry Christmas unless I know the person, (usually a customer) is of a different faith. Then I will say Happy Holidays.
This year the company I work for went with Merry Christmas on the company card, but did print a few Happy Holiday and Happy New Year cards for specific customers.
