The last couple years the sun gods have given us some rain but we still get a great turnout but we are hoping for good weather this year.ray: I think that what I asked for last year too but seriously we've had good weather 15 of the 19 years Every year there always seems to be some new cars come out of the woodwork.Someone always is buying something new So whos planning on showing up ??
Thought Id add a link to the thread of last years pics http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?231151-2011-Puyallup-car-show-pics&highlight=puyallup+show
Duke, It will be nice to See you at the show! I am in, but it doesn't look like I will be bringing a new car this year, I am tapped out!
It will be nice to See you back this year Duke I thought that was some of your 100% humidity you brought along last yearo No:
It may have been a monsoon for you driving across the mountain pass from Eastern WA, but the weather in Puyallup at the show wasn't a monsoon. I am pretty sure that DL, who was up from TX, would agree it was not a monsoon. 2007 I think it was, that was a monsoon.
You guy's are funny. That was like the water mister in my back yard . Come to TX if you want to see a monsoon.1"-2" rain per hour with 50 mph winds that will wrap your umbrellas around your neck . DL
I think he even had shorts on all day just another humid day in Texas Seriously even with the debatable conditions last year there's no debating it was a good turnout with some nice cars
I will try and make it! This is always the same weekend as my wife's birthday, so its not easy to get away.... especially if it's raining :af: Although this year I have the wagon that could make a rainy day 4.5 hour drive!
Hey Im always there with at least one convertible maybe Ill bring two this year, If I worried about rain Id never drive them.
Doug, We try and move the show to a different day (number wise) every year just so you it doesn't fall on her birthday. You can't use that excuse every year!:bla:
I am going to bring a Buick to that show this year.... even if I have to trailer it... hell the rain will be good for the rusty spots on the new rag top....
As always I will have to play it by ear with my work, but at least it will be painted if I make it up there this year.
