You have to wonder about that Stage 2 part, could you imagine what it would be worth if it was true? Some how I doubt it but one can dream I guess. I just noticed there's 1 more 0 than I thought so maybe it is real but I still doubt it.
The inside looks nice, the outside looks beat up. I'd love to take a look at it, I don't have that kind of money though.
I didn't see that at 1st. Someone that didn't know better could have added that. I remember when the windshield antennas 1st came out folks hated them, I added a bunch of outside antennas for folks way back when...........
That no-rust hood is missing the tach too. Hard to tell what else is wrong from the photos. Maybe someone local can give it a look-see.
Really hard to tell by the dash pad if it has air. If it does have air then you can 100% rule out the fact it has the iron Stg2 heads with Kustom headers...But it still could have other Stg2 options.
It has the gsx dash pad emblem and the GSX steering wheel. This suggest it is a real GSX. If he has owned it since 78, stage 2 heads may be there.
My Stage 1 had a fender mounted antenna installed by the original oowner. He claimed "the original would hardly pick up anything". Looks like the WG's are still there! Hard to believe a GSX still "out there" in a back yard.
i know him, that car and where its at. its not a s-2. he had in a tent for a long time. last time i saw it, it needed restoration. he's dreaming at 30k, unless his house and kids are included.
Wonder how much underside rust there is and if the numbers match. Looks like the spoiler is falling off
I wouldn't think twice about cleaning that up and driving it for the summer. Just not for $30K. However, someone might end up with a pretty good deal if he's willing to budge. It's a shame he didn't bother to clean it up and take more pictures that were better quality. It appears as though it might be worth a look. Just saying...
"It's a shame he didn't bother to clean it up and take more pictures that were better quality.'' that's what it looks like. wash and wax is not going to change it. and swamp yankees usually don't budge.
could you fellas let a novice like me know based on that CL ad what led to assumption/speculation about Stage 2 heads ?
If I had that,Id throw a tune, tires and do some maintenance on that old girl and drive it like I stole it...Imagine the fun and looks you'd have with it?
