Hi Guys, for my 1970 Buick Le Sabre Custom I'm looking for the three 'emblems' that are located above the front wheels on each side (see pic). I'm from Amsterdam (no shops here) so I have to find them on the internet but I don't know how to call them... Stupid problem. Please help me out: How do you call these things and where can I find them? Thanks!

thanks Smarten, 'ventiports' indeed, better known as 'portholes'. This info opened a new world on the net for me :eek2:
why are they there and on which cars? I found it on http://www.buickpartsdirectory.com/portholes.htm

only question remaining: where to buy them, I saw lots of different shapes but I just need 6 simple rectangle ones as shown on the pic...
    anybody?

@flynbuick: don't worry about your Dutch, our cars speak the same language!

    Try Ebay.
Some models have reproductions being made.

    Why ? Decoration/ornamentation

Which cars ? Im certainly no expert on 1970 big cars but that sort of trim is usually specific to each year and model of car, so you would most likely need them from a 1970 LeSabre.

Certainly, other ones can be used from different models / years

It's a small world: "Smarten" (it's Smartin) is the owner of that website :Smarty:

    That's not always true....
