Motivated by the really neat cars above, thought I would show what I have been working on. Just had Brandon Decoudre install a fresh 464 in the car. Chassis dynoed 424 hp @ 6200rpm. Have not taken it to the track yet. Tony Saggese
Looks great, just the style I appreciate and yet another example of this car with a SP1 intake that some keep saying "won't fit." ou:
Tony. I love it. What air cleaner base and setup are you running. Original 67 Gs mounts or the TA ones?
No doubt. Mine is set up with the TA frame mounts and headers. With the SP1, Demon 850, and an air cleaner with the drop of about 3 inches if I'm not mistaken. All under my stock hood
Here is a picture of my 65 Skylark. As you can see it is a post car. It still needs to go to the paint and upholstery shop.
Wow, a lot of nice cars on here. Love the 64 and 65s. Here is my 4 spd 64 convert. You might notice that the right hand dash insert is from a 65... I have the 64 insert as well, but the 65 matches the instrument cluster really well. Still enjoying the top down weather!
Autom8it, A 4 speed and topless, very nice. That has got to be fun to drive. I like the 65 dash insert as well. I wanted to do that to mine but ended up putting the original back in.
OK I'm just now ALMOST ready to roll on the street with this thang...long road. Many sites taken in on the way, as in got Married (best thing) 5 more projects, work rest and plat in the milky way.
