Folks, To those of you that have blocks on order and have not received a call yet, if you can find a moment please try and give Sherri a call. This will help speed things up for you. We have also been asking that a check be sent for finial payment. Were not to willing to give the card company's that much for there short period of labor in this project. Sorry in respect to that. In response to Michael Evans and others. We have been tagging the blocks with some things we do when we build them here. Take the time to really go over and de-burr your block, the machine shop doesn't seem to take enough time so please go over it. Bottom tap threaded holes like timing cover, oil pan, motor mounts, transmission etc. And CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The water jackets have aluminum chips, core sand and steel shot in them. I have been blowing them out but they really need to be flushed out. MAKE SURE when installing the screw in plugs that they screw in with your fingers to the o-ring. If they stop, remove and see if there is a piece of steel shot or a chip in the threads.
You're not kidding......I've been trying to get my hands on an aftermarket Buick block for over 10 years.....
