Hello! This is my first post. I recently got into a little fender bender where a truck hit my marker light, and I can't find the headlight bezel anywhere. Any help in identifying this part would be greatly appreciated!
That looks like it is for a 4 door car! Is there a strip of raised chrome trim running down the center of the hood? If so, then you need to specify 4 door model. There are several in a local yard, but I'm not certain if the front trim is still there. I THINK (key word, THINK) that the 1983 2 door coupe uses the same front trim as the 84 4 door trim. The part number cast into the inside of the chrome bezel Looked at your second picture... 25505093 LH. Will check local yard.He usually charges about 25-30 bucks. Shipping would be about as much!
You're right. did some research, and it is the 81-83 bezels. The car was in an accident in the 90's where a 4x4 back on to, and sat on the front hood of the car. So the entire front clip was replaced with what seems to be be a front clip from an 83 two door regal.
Well there is an nos right side one on eBay but only a crappy left but here is its auction number.321859140867
82 Regal four door or 83 Regal Wagon. Parting in local yard. Can investigative condition or whether that part is still on or with either of these. Looks as if Wagon has damage to LF corner, though.
Checked my local yard. No good. One car was 81 (Unique year parts); other was missing front header panel.
Fair amount of confusion with these "metric" era cars - 78 through Dec 87 (end of production). There was the regular Regal, the Century, and the four door variants. And Wagons. All seemed to use specific parts on their front header panels. Seems as if they (GM) had stuck with the snout of the early Regal (78 - 80) and used that, for whole run of cars, they could have saved themselves a lot of money.
