Yes Spell Check should have been used here. Fliping should be spelled flipping. Grammerik (or a similar version) would have fixed "through a saw". Just busting on ya dude!! BTW...I saw Dazed and Confused again the other night. There's a decent 71 2 door Skylark the one kid gets paddled on. It has a nasty dent on the decklid, though. There's also a 70 GTO Judge (orange) with a black vinyl roof. I thought that was strange. A cool car like that with a vinyl roof. It would be like putting one on a 70 GSX.
Dazed and Confused is a fun movie. I was so drunk the first time I saw it, I identified every car as a GS. I also had to keep one eye closed to watch ONLY 2 TVs- with both eyes open I saw at least 4  True story. I also jumped down a flight of stairs that night. Moral of the story: know when to say when. But it was fun at the time. Good thing we were snowed in and I couldn't get to the car anyway...
Hey what about the 64 skylark in the out takes from Joe Dirt, when he's walking along the foot path and ever one' talking to him about what happened to him at Bobs place.... a white 64 rolls out a drive way and a little girl in the back seat says to him....
There's a 73 Riviera in "From dusk till dawn", it's waiting in a long cue to cross the Mexican border. The other week I was watching this movie with Sandra Bullock in it, her ex husband was driving a 73 Riviera. Dunno the name.. And Due South with Mountie Benton "Thank you kindly" Fraser, but that's not a movie.
hollywood Knights In the movie 'Hollywood Knights' there was a '64 GS convertible with plates that read 'BAD400' with a couple blonde chicks sitting in it. It was the scene where some guy was sitting in a tree looking down on them undressing as they traded clothes. In the movie they were called "the iron box twins". I don't remember the names of the actors.ou:
Saw that the other day Erik. I think its called "Forces of Nature". I only saw 10 minutes of it and the Riv was in that time frame.
since were on the subject....was i mistaken? while watching bad boys 2 will smith was driving the Blackhawk because his car was in the shop Rich Martel 70 GS 455
Saw a commercial over the weekend for French Toast sticks on Nickelodean Where the french toast sticks are driving a 64/65 Skylark.
There is an early '70s 4 door Skylark in The Terminator. In the part of the movie right after Reese and Sarah escape from the Tech Noir club they are running down an alley and they run down an alley and he shoots the gas tank out of the Skylark and blows it up in an error to stop Arnold.
I was watching "Blue Thunder" last night, and in the scene where Murphy is in the police garage getting to his TransAm and the "Bad Guy" pilot comes up to talk to him afte he crashed the Ranger helicopter, a tan 68 or 69 Skylark goes driving by in the background.
Thats the funniest frichen commercial, the Mascot sized french toast stick is fleeing from the law ala "COPS". The helicopter shot follows the 64 Skylark 4 door as it races through through some nieghborhoods. It screeches to a halt in a driveway only to get out of the "lark" and flee on foot. Had me and my 5 year old laughing our "you know whats" off  Look for the remake of "Amityville Horror" to be released sometime in 2005. Filmed locally in Northern Illinois and feature's more than a couple Buicks owned by some of our own "V8" guys :TU: D.
