On a 70-72, yes, maybe, but the 68-69, it can rub on the outside. On a 15X8, 5" B.S. is optimal for the 68-69 cars. If you jack the back of the car up and/or cut the lip back, maybe.
If those are the wheels I bought before I sold the car, they have a 4.5" BS. They fit OK, but I trimmed about 1/2" off the fender lip to ensure I didn't cut the tires on hard cornering.
im sorry .. and yes this are tge ralleys that steveeDee sold me with the car... Correct they 4.5 BS and i meassured .. you right i have a 29" tire... even more awesome
Headers and Torque converter came. further i striped cleaned and finished the old valvecovers with a high heat wrinkle spray and baked it. came out pretty nice and will match the black headers (will wrap them as well) Gesendet von meinem SGH-M919 mit Tapatalk
Hookers are good choice. Good high heat ceramic paint will keep them looking good. I think wrapping makes them look Mummified. JW for a convertor would be my choice.
i see what you saying... to me its mainly about the heat under the hood, so i believe that a heat wrap works better than a VHT coating for example (actualy i could do both ..lol) Im living in CALI so its gonna be extra hot in the summer. Im not concerned of moisture really
Those headers and valve covers sure are purdy! Pro tip- that is a high torque starter from an '85 Pontiac that had a 305 Chevy...um, Corporate GM engine, on that Buick engine. Just a little note for you guys that want a starter that spins your engine fast. Note the long copper extension on the solenoid.
i appreciate that.. ahaha the torque converter is a Summit brand (which is actualy a B&M product) 2900-3200 Stall Nitrous converter... so i be pretty save with my setup.
i was just intalling my. msd start&step retard control for my nitrous. it will be wired with a msd 6AL box. now i have a question... the msd 6al and the retard box are connected trough -white of msd box - yellow of retard box. since im using the mag. pickup wire (green/violet) to the dizzy i am wondering which. boxes Mag. pickup outlet to use now? -MSD 6al or the -Retard control box outlet (both green/violet) hate eletrics..lol Gesendet von meinem SGH-M919 mit Tapatalk
You unplug the magnetic pick up from the 6AL box to the distributor and plug the green/violet of the retard box into the distributor.
i see that makes sense.. and the msd box mag. pickup wire just stay unplugged ... Gesendet von meinem SGH-M919 mit Tapatalk
ok.. i will wire the pink trigger cable to the nitrous activation switch. so the retard will be activated with the nitrous.. All funtions of the 6AL will be forwardet to the dizzy through the connection between 6AL box & retard control (yellow/white) i guess?! Gesendet von meinem SGH-M919 mit Tapatalk
Yes, that is the way I read the instructions. Look at the wiring box ABOVE the diagram you posted. Make sure you connect the pink wire to something that sees 12 volts when you activate the nitrous.
