Just in case someone didn't get it, this is the Reynolds car when Bob Kent owned it and painted it Blue. He was up in Washington state.
Haha, ok I will start tonight digging through albums and posting pictures. I need a new iphone that is for sure. Got some full size wall mounted photos recently as I raided another Buick memorabilia collection. Interesting, I never knew the Reynolds car was painted blue. Any relation to Bruce Kent with the 8 second Apollo?
Yea, Dave Johnson painted it back to the correct white after he bought it off of Bob. Not sure if there is any relation to Bruce?o No: oh, and jabbin you.
Tony....does tomorrow ever come with you ? I donated copies of my collection for the archive you were starting...??? Anyway.....tomorrow i will forget all about it....ha ha Peace WildBill
Posting this pic on this thread via Gary Steele`s recommendation...pretty sure no one has seen this pic. The fellow on the left is my friend`s Dad...he was the shop foreman at this Buick dealer in Indiana...anyone know about the origins of the "superbird" graphic? Seems to appear on quite a few mid `60`s drag cars so I would assume these were factory graphics available to dealer sponsored drag cars? Any info would be appreciated...enjoy, Tom Mooney
Thanks for posting Tom! You're right about Superbird, don't know if it's just a coincidence or not. Great picture and a welcome addition to the thread.
