By the looks of the seller and lack of documentation listed on the EPay auction, I wouldn't move forward on anything until I gave the car a personal inspection and verified that it's original miles with lots of documentation, but that's just me.......................
This sucks I was watching this closely to see where it ended up. I have a 4spd with less than 14000 miles my parents bought brand new although it's burgundy hard estimate value with crap like this.
id be pissed when that mess shorts out somewhere along the interstate after just paying $50,000 for that car.
There are a lot of questions surrounding this car that really should have been answered by now for that kind of cash.
Looks like it snuck back on for a 3 day auction and lowered BIN price. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/323068469338
I'd have to see it in person. Too many questions & not enough answers. Might be a great deal. $5k less this time.
Pictures of the Q-Jet and Sloan or Wayne Roberts docs wouldn't hurt either. If this car is truly original, I'd be able to get the max eBay dollars with a weekend, a lift and a camera. Just saying.
I get the feeling he is not really a car or Buick guy. I think he lucked out and was at the right place at the right time. Probably seen it for sale and thought cool car maybe it would be fun to drive.
And this one too , https://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-Maser...734830?hash=item4b3865ad6e:g:1PoAAOSwqaJac89g
He shows a picture of the Maintenance /Timing decal that's NOT ON THE CAR, and the engine and trans numbers are casting Numbers not car specific VIN #'s and the rest of the photos are from a phone that's crap........truly dumb.
