We also ALL the documentation, build sheet, protec-to-plate, dealer invoice etc etc. Original engine is gone was blown under warranty, have dealer paperwork where warranty engine was installed in 72 Goal is a very clean driver, with a stockish engine, just something to cruise and enjoy
I’ve seen this car in person, it’s got great bones. And Nocturne Blue over white is going to be stunning. Looking forward to this build.
Was sold new in FL I'm thinking around the Ft Lauderdale area can remember rite off. Yea I'm thinking the amount of A bodies that received Nocturne is really low, car isn't terrible, needs trunk , couple small floor repairs, bottoms of 1/4's and the roof has a few soft areas overall it's not bad, little crustier than we normally fool with but it's too cool not too
Wow, what a rat! That thing was rode hard and put away wet. I always look at cars like this and wonder what happened to them. Someone drove that car off the lot, washed and waxed it, took care of it.....how did it go from that to this? Makes you wonder what event led to it being sidelined. I sound like Mark Worman now.....
Working on a 66 Chevelle resto rite now, then gonna concentrate on my GSX, hope to have the frame all dolled up by Christmas, then I'll start on the body. Next spring..., I hope, got a 71 GS 455 I'm getting ready for the spring Charlotte auto fair too,..no rest around here
I thought about getting it up and going and cruising it around till we had more time to work on it, it was fundamentally solid enough,..and would have been a blast but apparently I have hidden need for shop decorations so I have to tear everything apart so it doesn't even roll then move it around once every two months ha
Is going to make A nice car when you get it finished, I love 4 speed cars. I thought it would have been cool to just drive it the way it was ,but I know you want to fix it right.
Someone is getting a psi wash in the morning,..then some sand and epoxy on her belly,....frame has been painted for a couple years now,...gonna reunite them in the next couple weeks get it rolling and spring I'll hang the AMD quarters,..and address some other rotted areas
