My first "family dog" as a kid was a liver and white springer spaniel named Chipper. We had him for almost 16 years. He was one of the best companions a boy could ask for and will probably be the dog all future dogs are compared to as he set a bench mark. Hemi does a pretty good job though, he's really taken to "babysitting" Hunter...
Here’s my new buddy Blue. He’s about 9 months old. My 1st Boxer. Good breed, good match for my family. Likes walking off with anything he shouldn’t have though.
No garage dogs, but a garage cat here. Last year I was under the 'lark and she decided that she'd like a lap. No lap, so she just curled up on my chest.
Cats are cool too, Blue, my cat, hes an indoor fella, tho he has snuck out a few times and disappeared for a couple days when I'd let dogs in/out, he acts more dog like tho
And this is Zero, he’s a bit smarter. He figured out he can lay at the top of the stairs to the garage and repeatidely drop his balls down the stairs so I’ll throw them back out of the garage and into the house. Minimal effort.
LOL, dogs don't care where they hang out it seems, or how dirty they get as long as they can be close to there owner
This is Rotten D Dog....name says it all And he found a wonderful present for himself on a walk through a field last winter
They own you, not the other way around. You should of wrote it; "dogs don't care where they hang out it seems, or how dirty they get as long as they can be close to their humans."
Not a Buick anymore, nor is it in a garage................but the hood is up ! My buddy Rosie & I checking fluids on the boat. She either fell off or jumped right before this pic. This dog will spend all day in the water if I had the energy to throw the stick that long!
Karma is an American Staffordshire Terrier who I adopted (rescued) through Craigslist. She loves going for rides with the top down.
REALLY???? Reminds me of a friend I had in junior high, they lived on a farmers property, the farmers dog had a litter of pups (reddish orange fur, the breed escapes me right now) Id sit in the field and they'd climb, crawl, and trample all over me, I loved it
Most of the dogs compete in Nationwide dog sports... Whippet racing straight (150-200 yards) and oval racing (270-300 yards) and flyball (dog relay racing with a Christmas tree). In flyball the team finished 5th and sixth in the US and overall like 7th quickest team in the World for the past two years The whippets were clocked over 38-42+ mph. We did some lure coursing at one point as one was competing for the number 1 in the country. Before that I did agility. Other dogs also do dock diving.. and some hunt - go to ground and did herding. When I was in PA farmers would always ask for my Jack's to get rid of mice, ground hogs, possums..etc.. Keeping them in shape is a job in itself. From walks, hill work, casual swim, Sprint swim, treadmill, core work etc.. they are fed raw. I have included a shot of 12 dogs being walked every morning.. Of photographer stop by to see what was going on and she asked to take some photos.
