I was born in 85. Since i was boy i looked at the clouds, night sky, moon and sun and been trying to figure it all out... The sky is not how i used to be. I used to watch clouds move now they stay in the same place. The clouds are lower and some appear to be different colors. When the sun rises everyday just before it comes up there are metalic shinny lines made by jets right on the location of its rise. Is it just in California or is it in your state. How about the aussie guys, Swedes and anyone over seas.. There are days where the lines cross hatch and even days where the sun never shows. Dont feed me the global warming agenda just tell me or show me what your sky looks like. Or if yiu seen some changes.
You are so right Bill. I miss the nights I could step out and see nothing but black and shining stars.
Its really not that dark being it's noon here, the put the camera right on the sun so thats why im thinking it came out like that.
The Montana sky at night is one of the most amazing I've ever seen. I can remember crossing the Continental Divide on I-90 at 2 in the morning and pulling over to look at the stars and feeling like they were almost touchable
I remember reading an article a few years ago about how the jet airplane "contrails" can have a serious impact on the sky .. especially in areas where there is little movement in the atmosphere to clear them and break them up. More planes .. more lines, and these lines spread out and widen. Pretty soon you have a cloud cover. .. Ever notice sometimes they only last a very short time/distance behind the plane ?
I was driving home from work in October and I thought the aliens from "Independence Day" were landing but it was just an unusual sunset in central PA.
This picture is from my front porch in late December. I thought the cool blues and pinks were unusual.
