one of those BPG meets at quaker was back to back with my family reunion in California. I flew home to Maryland jumped in the truck with racecar in tow , drove to ohio and was racing within 24 hours of leaving Ca.

Just to let everyone know, we will have a section roped off for anyone that would like to sell stuff only or you may also sell at your spot where you are pitted. There will be no charge for swap meet spots.

Working hard to try and get my car up and running so I can bring it to this event, this year will be the first year out for the car I'd love to be able to bring it to the first year for this event as well.

OK Buick guys and gals, we are getting closer to the first annual Buick Bash. Just wanted to update a couple of things for everyone.
    1. You will be able to camp at the track from Wednesday thru Sunday if you like.
    2. There will be close to 200 spots with electric, there will be a small fee (maybe in the $25 range) to have this turned on for the event but there will be plenty of room if you require it. You will need to let one of the track officials know where you are parked so they can turn it on.
    3. There will be fuel and food available all weekend also
    4. We have the track from 9-5 on Friday, so we will run a test and tune of course and a gamblers race and maybe some other racing for fun (stay tuned for more info on that.)
    5. If the weather doesn't cooperate for us on Saturday we will be able to run the event on Sunday. Just wanted to let everyone know this so you could plan ahead if needed.
    6. Pets are permitted at the track, track rules are that they are to be on a leash thought.
    7. Quaker runs a regular Friday night program of a Box/No Box classes, along with test and tune and all Buicks are welcomed to run Friday night, you will just have to pay the entry fee for their event.

I am sure there is more information that will be posted as we get closer to the event. We look forward to seeing everyone out here and having a fun and relaxing weekend of racing time spent with great friends. Any questions, feel free to ask

I'm in the same boat and was just wondering the same. If my schedule works out, I'd like to drive the white car up and spectate. I dont have the time or desire to get the green car straightened out and run it this year.

There is a grass area behind the stands where you will be able to park if not racing or any grassy area around the pits, this will put you easy access to the stands and also the pits and concession stand

Hey Denny, I'd like to get two motorhome electric pit spots, but I don't know how. It doesn't appear on Quaker City's site that I can reserve them, how do I lock them down?

There are 250 spots on the grounds that have electric, there will be no problem with you getting a spot with electric. When you come in you will just have to let them know where you are parking so they can turn it on. I do believe there will be like a $10-$20 fee for the couple days (i am not sure but will find out from the track)

Thanks Denny, I'm glad it isn't too restrictive, I hope to be able to bring two cars with their associated old fat guys and don't care for the motel gig. So, we should be able to pull in and tell them we need pit electric motorhome for the Buick event and pay everything up there? Or do we pay for the spot then register and pay for the event at another location? I know we gotta pay for racin' somewhere.
