Maybe he wants that much because he’s using a formula based on the pitted surface to shiny surface ratio.
Good God, I need to find me a 69 skylark to part out if that's what the parts are going for. Seriously though, are those hood louvers that rare? Nevermind the ridiculous asking price.
the price dosent seem right for Gene he is fair also i think i sold these to him around 3 years ago i will say for sure i sold him a set
I don't know him personally & didn't realize who it was when I saw the ad, but I think I've bought stuff from him before now that you mention the name. I shutter to say this, but I first glanced at the name figuring it was "billions & trillions" (no pics please!).
WHEW... and these aint mine! https://denver.craigslist.org/pts/d/littleton-1969-buick-gs-hood-nostrils/7119630094.html
Dano, come on man, you know how hard it is to find parts that trashed? That’s a rare find! Pay up and be happy you have those to mount to your mailbox as a novelty item!
I've seen fair prices before from him . I believe he used to be in Broomall PA and usually has a spot at Carlisle over in the area by the Turnpike . Last Fall I think he was the only vendor over there .
it’s a free country he can ask what he wants, but I have seen inserts go for much less in much better condition. The only thing missing is the red blanket to sit them on If you were talking about the hubcaps that’s a great price!
its a sales tactic..list high offer buy it now.. most people search by highest price first in their search..those come up on top every time when you search for those... so it starts a conversation..who knows what he actually wants for them, unless you make an offer....its actually a good sales tactic in my opinion
