It was the first time for me at a drag race. Unfortunately the traction was very bad on the airfield. The Challenger driver was quite surprised when I pull away. The feeling was unbelievable when you build a car completely by yourself and it really works like it should. In the first and second gear I had wheelspin but the car was always straight as an arrow. An automatic may be faster, but a six speed stick shift car makes alot of fun while banging through the gears. All in all it was one of the best days. With this video I hope to give some of you a little smile in this difficult time, stay heathly
My brother has a new Mustang and keeps challenging me to a race. I keep telling him "I have a personal luxury vehicle, not a race car." My girl is 54 years old, that deserves some respect. The engine has 105,000 miles without being rebuilt. Not going to abuse my girl.
i bet it would make everybody's day if buick came out with a 1970 gs stage 1 retro like dodge did with the challenger.
It would be cool, BUT, it probably wouldnt sell well. Us older people would appreciate it and know what it is, but Buick doesnt have its own V8 anymore, so it would get an LS engine. The younger crowd would appreciate LS power, "BUT ITS IN A BUICK!" "I can get Camaro for 8 grand less" I dont know how Buick is hanging on except that it sells well in Chinese land.
