Looking for full loaded 1967 GS H/T Power driver seat Power windows Speed-o-Lert Front disc brakes Trunk light Engine compartment light Am/fm radio Vinyl top Prefer non A/C but not a deal breaker if she has A/C
Better start collecting parts, I have the disk brake set up for a 67, but not going to install on my GS, Over the years I collected many parts to add to my GS cars, but as I got older, sold many of them after I determined I did not want to install them, I think my first power window install had something to do with it.
Funny, I was looking for the exact opposite, a 67 GS 400 Pillar coupe with no options for a year. Found one in Zanesville Ohio, (close to you?) radio delete, non a/c, no power , has posi. Picked it up during the Columbus Buick Nats.
That was some good times, Tom reached for the Starwars air cleaner and found out a snake nest was inside,
Hope you find the car you are looking for, its out there, may have to re-home some snakes in the process.
If you ever see the production figures for ‘67 GS400s with disc brakes, I’d love to see it. The ‘67 Buick production figures I have lumps all 4000-series cars (Skylark, sport wagon, GS400) together when it lists disc brakes. To the original poster, good luck with your search. I’ll keep my eyes open.
I stumbled across this thread while I was doing research on a car im picking up from a buddy. It's a 67 GS400 but it's missing the orginal 400. I did notice it had disc brakes. I didn't realize they were an option for that year. The car is also a post car, I totally overlooked that when I agreed on taking it. not a deal breaker, I think it might make it more rigid. Would a 67 GS400 with buckets, center console tach, AC, and Disc brakes make it odd for being a post car?
With only 1,014 GS400 sedans built in ‘67, they are all pretty rare or odd, regardless of options. Of the 1,014 sedans, 467 (46.1%) had bucket seats. The center console was only installed in 224 of those sedans (22.1% of the total production). Air conditioning was installed in 46.4% of all ‘67 Buick 4000-series A-bodies (Skylark, sport wagon, GS400) but there’s not a more breakdown.
