I started a thread about this car couple months back it was on cars online could be the same seller he started at a 45K finally dropped it down to 30 K and then it was deleted off I thought it had sold at $28 500 it's probably the same owner the car was originally Sherwood green from the factory.
I remember him telling me that the ad in cars online was expensive. I told him he needed more pictures and a better description of the car, I just contacted him to see if it was a factory black car.
This car was also for sale in my area for 35K on facebook marketplace. Wearing a different PA plate in the ad now.
What’s with the different states and plates if same owner? I saw it listed in Pa for awhile with price drops also if same car.
Yesterday I called the original ad from Pennsylvania I never got a callback could be a different owner from New York with a different PA plate. If it is a flipper they won't be making much money on it. Wilkes-Barre PA is a long way from Long Island New York.
In PA, the purple plate shown in the ad I posted is a registrable “antique vehicle” plate. The blue plate shown in the current ad is a PA plate that is no longer registrable unless it matches the year of the car. In 1970, a PA plate is yellow and blue not like the one shown. Most likely a flipper that got the blue plate in the deal and threw it on for nostalgia.
When I talk to him the first time he said it was matching numbers engine and trans plus the carburetor and distributor Talk is cheap though.
I figured it wasn’t an original black car. Hs anyone on here ever actually laid eyes on it to see how good or bad it is? Also curious if it ever had a top on it.
