White steel spare (if original) means it was a poverty cap car, right? Or was white a no-go wheel color on Buicks? Patrick
Best lead (along with the red '69 hardtop a couple of weeks ago) I've seen in a while. I must not be ready to jump back in yet if I didn't call about either one of those. I actually am leaning more and more towards a manual goat or 442. That blurry trans shot doesn't look like a Muncie to me...
So I called this guy, as it was close to me, and sometimes I cannot help myself. Anyway, he says it was an upstate NY car for years until he brought it to FL several years ago, he is the third owner, I asked if it had a repaint, rust repair etc, he was not sure, trunk lid looks a little crusty and according to him that is the biggest issue with the body. not sure about drivetrain rebuilds, says 52K original miles, but no paperwork. Overall it didn't look too bad, but being the wrong colors and no AC, for me, 25k was too strong, I did not pursue it or look at it. Nice enough guy to talk to, not sure what he would take.
