I just got back from Naples last week. Beautiful weather and love the area. Looked at some houses for the future. Can’t take to many more Illinois/Chicago winters. I’d rather deal with heat then cold. Hard to jump in my pool when it’s a block of ice 3 to 4 months of the year. If you like super cars. Plenty of them.

I have lived here 21 years in the Sarasota area and I would never go back to the cold. We have swimming pools and air conditioners and tiki bars year around here.

I'm having trouble following this thread. I recognize the blond woman with "El Chapo", but where's Jason?

Summers in FL? There's a reason we only come part of the year. When I get old and in need of hot weather most of the year I'll rethink it. Even Floridians like Waterboy migrate north in the summer. Maybe thats why birds migrate north in the summer. Food for thought. If I'm a snowbird for coming in the winter What's the name of those Floridians that go north in the summer?

A lot of them are called “ Half backs“. They come to Florida for the winter and then they travel halfway back to where they are from for the summer.

LOL, I called them genetically challenged, they are so weak that they can’t live through the extremes of Florida! Me however, having been blessed with superior genetics, I live here year-round and love it!

By your own admission you can't handle the cold. So you're superior to what?

Show me where I admitted that I can’t handle the cold? I’d like to see the quote.

We call them snowbirds here. They fly south for the winter
