I remember the one you're referring to (Board Member is in MI & it was ordered by a Buick engineer) & was wondering if it was the same car but this one seemed nicer. I believe that one sold for low $40's.
It’s a beautiful car. Just curious, were the 4-spd. consoles painted interior color on all color interiors? I’ve seen them in black and burnished saddle but this is the first one I’ve seen in blue. I thought blue cars received a black console.
Hi, Just curious why it list a M20 with 3.64 gears wouldn't that came with a close ratio M21, not sure if M22 was ever offered in a Buick. Regards, Jim
M20 was the UPC/RPO code for the M-21 4-sp. - Buick did this as a cruel joke just to cause mass confusion 50 years later.
Assuming Streetside gets 30% (?) for a consignment they're really the ones getting the payday. To advertise such a car w/o documentation is foolish as there's no way to prove it's heritage. IIRC, the PO had a Wayne Roberts on it. I liked it back then too and considered it. Unkess the new owner sunk a lot into it, even in today's market frenzy it's probably a high $40's/low $50's car? Owner should've probably tried selling himself if he wanted out if it for whatever reason.
Did anyone notice that the cowl tag paint code is 28 Diplomat Blue, while the white firewall marking is 37, of which I cannot find a listing for paint code 37 in 1970.
StreetSide Classics get a minimum of 12.5% as does Gateway Classics. Auto Hunter is part of Classic Cars which was acquired by Barrett-Jackson about 2 weeks ago. The seller pays $129.00 to list, the buyer I believe pays a 6.5% commission
Thanks Roberta, the owner has Leukemia. The 1st owner was from Swartz Creek, the 2nd Davidson, the 3rd Lennon. All 3 worked at Buick City. The current snd 4th owner is from Swartz Creek.
The location is now listed as Queen Creek, AZ. Is it the same owner that had the video shot in Michigan?
