Interesting. Kinda needs a lot of work & probably not worth putting that much into it but would be a fun car to just drive after fixing the brake issue. Reminds me a lot of cars you'd run across regularly back in the mid/late '80's for $2500/3k.

I wish I could get my plumbers strap to lay that flat.

Yes, and no. I bought one almost exactly like it it the mid 80's for $500.00, only it had a painted roof and a factory 3.42 posi.

The owner mentions the passenger quarter change but I think the drivers has been changed too.

What do you guys think on the cam? Probably needs changed to something more mild?

Sure looks like it. I've asked for a picture of the cowl and vin tags. Why don't folks count themselves as an owner?

$500 for that even in the mid 80's was a heck of a deal at least in our part of the country.

Back then, a good used '71 Grille was worth $500.

It appears bidding has exceeded the reserve.

and seems to have sold other cars on eBay and received good feedback.

Looks like a bidder placed a bid to reveal the reserve at $13,500 and retracted his 14 grand bid.

Good point. Or maybe he did the math to restore it and reality sunk in.

Personally, I am getting mighty tired of reality of late.

If $11,600 was a real bid, seller should've let 'er go.

If I wasn't already in the middle of a project, this would be tempting to me. You could have a lotta fun in this car for your $11,600 investment. Just buy it and drive it like you... don't have a lot of money in it. Which you don't. :)
