EDIT Full movie in my next post with a lot more of the '69 in it, especially the beginning.

***'69 guys, please see my reply below for the road test - same car?***

Don't know if there is already a thread about this one. The car is in the movie quite a bit, and in most of the title part of the movie. I actually recall watching this movie as a teen and long before knowing about the GS cars.

Nice! I live in the Bay Area and crazy to see how the GG Bridge and Crissy Field looked back then!!!

…And this car was in ‘The Great Divide’. Wonder if it’s the same car with changed rims and damage?

Headrests obviously removed for filming. Another 69 4 door driving next to it on the bridge. Looks like a possible 68 trunk lid when she pulled in the parking lot at the end of the clip.

Don't think that a 68 trunk lid. Looks like factory pinstripes.

Thanks Brian and 69GS400 for clarification on the trunk lid...Buick enthusiasts reciprocating education and edification!

Pretty sure the four-door is a '68, at least from the grille.

But more importantly, was that Herbie the Love Bug on the bridge? :)

I would say that the 4 door on the bridge is a 1969...with that vertical
tri-shield emblem and the horizontal chrome bar in the center of the grill. For reference...attached pictures...1st picture is a 68 and 2nd picture is a 69.
    High 5 and Fist bump!

Does V8Buick have a drug test policy for those suspected being under the influence? :)

98% sure the same car that was in the movie, was a test car for a January 1969 Motor Trend Supercar Comparison:

In California 1969 / 1974. GS400 (not Stage 1) convertible, same pinstripe, power windows, white buckets with COLUMN shift, remote mirror, full wheel covers, door edge guards, steering wheel option, and no air conditioning at the very least. Tinted windshield and am radio look likely too.

Need an expert to weigh in but if you found California YKE615, I think you found something really cool. P/W is @ 1 hour and 25 in the movie. See if you can pick out another option!
