Hi ok this is the right forum ? on this group Y body cars has anyone figured how to do a duel master cylinder ? as i would like to up-grade to disc the car is very original with 215 4 sp. so don't want to butcher it any ideas ? Thanks
You need to join our 61-63 Buick Skylark Facebook group. There's so much information there about our cars that you will never learn here. We have all the info you need and want about dual masters and disc brake conversions. This group is focused on the gs's, gsx's etc from the mid 60's to the mid 70's and don't care about our cars! DUELING is paramount to murder or manslaughter depending on when side of the pistol that youre on, however, DUALING of any vintage car with a mono-piston type master cylinder is highly recommended. Ta' heck with the judges.
Hi guys thanks on your input will have to set-up / get facebook account as i am old just not up to speed on all the computer sites Thanks
Brand new here, just bought a '62 Skylark and looking to find the FB page for disc brake conversions/dual master cylinder. Are kits for a same era Nova compatible?
Quick simple answer NO! Chevy did their own thing back then. The 61-63 buick and olds y-bodies are compatible though. Keith
