PO & I were talking @ MCACN about what you've done/doing to the GSX! It's in the right hands & fun to watch the transformation.

    Getting back to the armrests!

Took both stainless trim pieces off and gave them a polish.

The armrest bases were dirty. Gave them a good scrubbing and blew them dry with compressed air. Cleaned up, they had a faded look to them

Once dry, I wiped them with Sem vinyl prep. Blew them dry again and gave thrm a coat of Sem landau black.

They have a nice "crisp" deep black look to them now

I also scored a nice, barn fresh SJ code radiator. It's off to the radiator shop on Monday for a recore

    And now the door panels...

Funny you should say that! Lol

Took the panel off today and found that the cardboard split where the factory perforated it. Common issue. Someone was there before and fixed it with duct tape. The aquamist GS was the same way. Im going to get some door panel cardboard and back up the split. It'll be good as new. So we have a little thanksgiving arts and crafts project on our hands!

Trying not to go too far down the rabbit hole here, but one thing that really bugs me is that the windlace isn't tucked in at the top on both sides. But to fix it, you have to take half the damn interior out!

So out comes the rear seat and door panels! In taking out the rear seat, I found an uninvited resident

Does anyone know mice species? Is this an Idaho mouse or a Maryland mouse? Lol

Instead of using cardboard again I use Formica. Just as thin & holds better. Is also waterproof.
