Hello fellow Buick lovers. After 45 years of lust I have finally gotten my car. A 1970 GS Stage 1. I have looked for years at ads and the time was finally right. I had a bit of help from people on FB and CJP69 from here. Chris was fantastic about information and things to look for. I originally looked at several convertibles, but after terrible inspections I went after a Stage 1. I purchased the car from Tom Miller at Campton Performance & Engineering (https://www.facebook.com/CamtonPerformance/). Tom was super and honest about the car and very fair. He made sure everything was right and checked in after the delivery and I can't say enough about his positive assistance. I could not ask for a better group of people to offer support and guidance. All in all it was a great experience. The car is in great shape with the body and paint in perfect shape. Interior is great, Engine and running gear good as well. At this point I wanted something that the big stuff was done and I can do the little detail stuff. I know this is a bit long. But the information here and the group of people on this sight are fantastic. Thanks for letting me share and learn.
Welcome! Chris is known as the “crack spider” as he knows about every Buick, and has helped MANY get into Buicks.
Sweet ride; you are in great company with this group of enthusiasts. Welcome from "Orygun" west coast!
Welcome - Beautiful car! I assume you know that was the color combo used in most of the GS magazine ads in '70.
