Looking for a perfect pair of trunk drop-offs for 70-72 Skylark/GS. A rust-free 4-door is a good source,so you don’t have to cut into a good coupe 1/4. Mine have some pits,so looking for something perfect while I have it this far apart.
Check w/ @AzChevs - he has a post-sedan shell he hasn't cut up yet. I think the ones on the shell I have here for you are perfect (if you want it) but I wouldn't think you'd want to cut that one up either.
I spoke with him already. It’s a pretty decent shell,but not worth cutting into it for just the drop-offs. That whole body would be pretty good for someone wanting a post car.
That's what I thought too & recommend it to the guy on here looking for one. Joe said pass floor is rusty but he sent me pics & rusty to someone in southern AZ is way different than rusty to us, lol. One reason I decided against it (besides the logistics) was I know I couldn't cut it up but Joe said he was going to eventually. Seems like it'd be a great shell to build.
