No calls or texts before 10am or after 9pm EST please(old and wore out). Okay folks Dad,Father-in-law,and only brother have passed and Moms 98 & moved out of state (fortunately sister can care for her now) but basically I am the last male standing & after MANY years of clearing those relatives massive collections of hobbies and what nots out (STILL not done on theirs and lab equipment I also inherited from our 50 plus year old family business) I have decided I don’t want to leave my family holding the bag doing a nightmare cleanup. As most of you know I have a 40 plus year collection of 1960-1973 Buick parts. Heavy on 1960,1970,72 & 73 plus smaller miscellaneous 63,67,68,69,71 items. If there are items you are aware I have that we have discussed in the past now would be a good time to call or PM me about your needs. I believe I am all out of Stage II parts and I am pretty sure I don’t have anymore 4 bolt main 455 blocks). I’d like to get these two 1973 Century’s off my property too! One is a standard 2 Dr. Century (maybe a 5 or a little higher on 1 to 10 scale) and one VERY rough but extremely rare factory black on white guts 1973 Stage 1 Sun Coupe. Loaded car but is missing the motor and again is very rough. One of only a handful or two so equipped. I also still have my vandelized 1972 Stage 1 (off frame for blasting before kids went after the body with a hatchet) missing original motor and trans but has its posi & discs etc. It is one of 5 Sloan Documented Sandelwood painted Stage cars with black top and interior. Again very rare but very rough. Full disclosure I am trying to work out a deal with a passionate Buick guy in his 20’s to keep the new Buick blood flowing but it involves putting it back on the body for him & not sure if I can handle that work anymore. Have collected up some critical 72 Stage parts over the years (just in case I felt lucky on getting it back on the road). Anyhow, just a heads up mainly on the above year parts unrelated to those cars (not selling parts off mentioned car and not a “get in line” offering). Reach out to me with your number & I will call you to discuss rather than a back and forth text forever. Not posting pics or pricing to avoid “I am in line for………” let’s just talk on the phone please. No calls after 9pm or before 10am please. Thanks, Fritz 28104 North Carolina
Great idea… make sure someone gets to value it as much as you do. Vs it getting dropped in a dumpster some day.
Well hot diggity dog Fritzy you're really doing it buddy! Does this mean we're going to see the X finished and you burning rubber again!!
Yes, that is the hope! Of course managing this big ole farm property and all the high mile daily drivers, clearing Moms home and inheriting 2 more cars (mint 92 RiadMaster Dad bought new for Mom & his beautiful 50 Chrysler New Yorker that never even saw rain but hasn’t been started since I was 15 & backed it out to wash and wax it to perk Dad up when he was in the hospital from open heart surgery; all that will slow me down from my “X”. So we will see. Really want to get Dads Chrysler running again too. Straight 8 323cid Spitfire pumping out a cobweb shaking 120 PLUS horsepower!
That’s my baby (Josephine) and is one of the rarest equipped 1960 225 convertibles I have ever seen in 25 plus years. My goal is to keep her,Dads 1950, & the 455 4-speed “X”. The 60 will be an auction car for the family if I ever get to where I croak or can’t drive anymore. Factory Sable black with very rare black and gray leather power 2 way bucket seat and console interior,Twilight Sentinel (automatic headlight photocell kick down) factory posi,Wonderbar seeking radio, rear speaker, convertible, factory a/c,power EVERYTHING,etc etc
I was a bit interested in the Stage 1, but that is way too big a project for me to take on. Thanks for posting the pictures.
Yeh she is a big project for sure! Would need the white car for parts and probably still need a bunch of stuff. Would be easier to forget it’s a Stage 1 and transfer that whole Sun Coupe roof and pillers to a clean car. The raccoons really like it though!
Just noticed “Oldschool85” Richard Babula has several doors for sale at good prices. Maybe he has a drivers side?
Oh man, you got some cool cars Fritz. I love that Chrysler, but that black 60 drop top is oh so saaaaaweeeeet
