Just Dash did disappoint me, I did call them and had a conversation about a perfect Skylark Dash core. I asked about if the dash I would send cost less then one that many repair issues. My answer was we just had a price increase and repairs may cost more. Sorry, I got off on Dash pads. On Dash clusters I had a great experience with the company I posted earlier on thie thread.
Got my dash bezel back today from G Car. Awesome! Really first class. Also did radio bezel, a heater vent, lots of knobs and escutcheons for radio and headlights etc. Convertible switch accessory plate. Underside steering column cover. Arm rest backing plates. www.gcartrim.com Glen really is the man. M. If anyone wants pictures, PM me and I can text them.
Marc, You should consider posting the pictures in this thread. I'm sure the group would be interested in seeing the finished product and also what the pricing was.

I think restoring a original is the best route. The key is having a good core! Things to look at would be heat damage causing warpage, cracked or broken mounting points, chips, and deep scratches. These will cause issues in the finished product. I recommend adding epoxy around the mounting tabs because they are thin and prone to break.
I will. Just swamped with work and very tight on space. My office looks like a car parts store. When I can properly unwrap everything I will try photograph everything he did for me. There was a lot. The dash pad that Just dashes did should be on here also, as it is really nice. And probably the console they ruined as well. I do realize the time is considerable. I have the luxury of time as I am restoring as many parts as I can now, and not taking my car apart for a few years at the least. But keep in mind, this guy has been the actual source that places like Just Dashes has been sending parts to for years as far as I can tell. Marc.
If anyone is interested the speedo was done by Redline Gauge Works. Clock was repaired and converted. Plexiglas was decent to start with, but the whole thing is amazing now. I can barely see through the one in my car. I know the salt you guys deal with is the worst car killer there is, but the sun is pretty harsh as well. M.
I was very lucky. It only needed to be taken apart and cleaned. A little detail work on the speedo numbers. Speed alert worked great as well. They only needed to replace the clock workings. M.
