Prices are getting really crazy and I think its going to get a whole lot more crazy sooner than later. I thought prices had kind of flattened out a bit but I think I was wrong judging by recent sales at Mecum. I wonder if this trend will follow at Barrett Jackson or other Mecum Auctions. Only time will tell but I can only state that prices have really never gone down on these cars only up year after year.
BJ, was way high for some. Once again i see little love for Buicks except for another GN. The last one built hit $550K, that's crazy money. And don't let me get started on the GM "square bodies", trucks in general. Anybody see the 70 GS with painted white top? It looked nice but don't know anything about it.
I sold my GN a few months back, didn’t do too bad, but the influx of money doesn’t last but a few months, bought a new to me Tahoe to replace my rusty fuel leaking Safari van, paid for one of our dogs surgery, paid some bills, went out for dinner, bought a new battery for wife’s Tahoe, and now I’m back to broke, LOLOL The economy will deplete in a hurry any proceeds from a sale, even if I got 100,000 for my GS ( dreaming haha) it would last a year, that’s it. It’s all proportional. Back in the 80’s when you could buy a nice ‘70 Stage 1 for cheap ( under 10 grand) everything else was cheaper also.
don't wait! now is the best time because tomorrow may never come. I know, I need to do the same. Fernando
Lol, yep, she wanted me too, which I was fine, the car was nice, but boring, it never broke It’s in a collector’s building in Florida now
just give it to me Joe so you don’t have to stress over selling it I still kick myself for not buying that car from Phil
$7,000,000,000,000 of very lightly used, guvmt printed COVID bucks have infected the musclecar market, just like every other part of the economy.
Shoot bro I believe you have enough cars right now too hope all is well you plan on making a run out here soon
Hey I’ve downsized a bit still got too many but you know how that goes. Later this spring looks like I’ll be retiring and after that I will be splitting most of my time between Cat city and Phoenix so we can catch up soon.
