    It's all very weird, yes.

I took this last night and just reduced it to the lowest resolution, which turned out to be 474×806.

    No change.

Maybe is something to do do with Chrome?

I don't thinks it's Chrome. I am using it and don't have that problem.

I just posted a picture from 2 years ago (in another thread) with no issues. 2226×3037, too.

    So weird.

    Good call.

    That was my previous phone.

There weren't any issues until the last couple updates, now that I think of it.

Not sure why Samsung would remove the option to change the default photo resolution but until I figure that out, I guess I'll have to start using some type of photo dump service.

I've discovered my phone is saving photos with a file extension I've never seen.

    heic.heif

What the hell is that?? Haha

    I have an android.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

These formats are standards. They are associated with Apple because Apple adopted them first. Now Samsung and android are using them also.

Ugh... that sucks. More reason to hang on to my old Galaxy S9 for a while longer...

It's a better standard that produces higher quality images in a smaller package. I think Brett's problem is a Samsung bug. Hopefully they fix it soon.

    I agree!

And of a sudden my photo file extension just randomly changed?

    Like, what is happening? Haha

It seems they've decided to save to my phone as .jpg again. I resized this to the smallest size.

    Nothing....

I doubt this can get any more annoying.

I've resized and posted a few photos randomly but there's still a snag on some of them. Could have something to do with the latest software update.

    Any suggestions?
