Hopefully the crank will clean up. What was the scenario leading up to this? Was oil pressure normal then took a dive? Was it always lower than it should be? Any noises leading up to this?
Oil pressure was always good then it suddenly dropped, we began looking into gauge or sending unit failure shortly there after it knocked and said I don’t feel good anymore.
That appears to be a TA steel replacement pan. Decent pan, but I hope you have front and rear baffles in it? That pan alone is better than a stock pan with the crossover notch, but without baffles and at over 500 HP , I'd say that's a problem. You may want to consider stepping up to a modified rear sump steel pan.... TA 15611B. With more power and the ability to accelerate much faster, Oil Control is KEY!!
He’s now Doing some engine bay freshening along with a new AC box replacement and blower motor repair while engine is at the machine shop.
On a serious note: now's a good time to pull that heater core out and have a radiator shop test it. It may be fine or may need re-coring. Either way, you'll never have better access than now.
I try to purchase a TA 15611B oil pans they had zero available for purchase also, no timeframe for when they will have some available. If you need one, you may have to call and put yourself on a list.
