Born with white top and SS wheels, wish it still had that. Still a pretty complete car, optional engine block heater too!
Now, that's how you're supposed to list a car online. I thought the 2011 eBay listing of my old '72 Stage 1 4-speed was thorough but this trumps that hands down! Kudos to the seller.
There's this: "To answer your questions, I don’t know for certain if the engine is original. but based on the history of the car, I believe it is."
Well represented add , it does seem odd no photos of the paint & body work done in the last 10 years . Don’t most of you ask your shop to provide photos ? That’s a pretty expensive endeavor these days .
You're not going to buy this car and win best paint, best of show, or score 399 in concours. This is an ice cream cruiser.
This car was for sale awhile back (may have even been discussed on here) - Can't recall if pre/post Covid. IIRC it was at a Canadian auction and there was something weird about the car which I couldn't remember but was discussing the car w/someone (we'd talked about it back then too) & he remembered - Pretty sure it had/has a salvage title although the BAT desc. says Alberta doesn't issue titles but as soon as he said it, I was sure that was it. I'm not going to post that on BAT w/o any evidence but might message the seller. A salvage title can mean lots of things so it wouldn't be a deal killer but interesting that it was disclosed then but not now. Kind of suprised it's at $25k already. Very neat car & I really like it but it does need a lot of love. That crack in the paint would be most concerning as well as whatever is lurking under that paint - That crusty seam pic is probably telling.
I noticed several things that were of some concern. 1) He never wound the tach past about 3500 during the test drive. 2) The Quadrajet has a manual choke cable hooked to it and the secondary air valve lock out linkage has been removed. I like this car. The lime mist color looks very much like my 1970 Seamist Green. Are they about the same?
