I have no idea. Others may. All I know is I applied this to my new daily driver, and the water just slides off the car even after half a dozen washes. You can even apply it to the windshield. It acts like Rain-X

The ceramic coating, I had applied on the Buick does the same thing, pretty cool to see in action.

That said, I will use this 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating on my daily drivers. Thanks VET.

My Dad ALWAYS used the old Simonix yellow colored paste wax.
Still have a few cans left over.
He's been gone for 40yrs. now & it's still good to go.

    Another vote for Collinites 870.
Used this on my boat, plus great for fiberglass shower walls & tubs!

I use turtle wax seal and shine, best against chemicals and a fantastic shine. But from what I am reading sealed paint might not be good paint. Is that what you guys are saying?

I can’t believe I read that wax is bad for paint, It’s been used for 100 years and this is the first time I have ever heard this?

Wax has been treating my cars great for over 45 years.

Waxing FRESH paint that’s less than say a year old is bad.
The paint is still curing, gassing out, if you wax it too soon it’s like wrapping your self in Saran Wrap after a shower, you’ll never dry.

Somewhere I have an email that outlines the steps to save original paint. I began to follow this method on my Stage….

The guy washed, dried, clay barred, then used Maguires #7, heavy coat, worked into the paint, and let it sit for 24 hours. He repeated this several times. That allowed the paint to be ready to be buffed/ polished, then sealed with a good wax…

I will try and find it….

I've had issues with water collecting where its not supposed to, so I completely stopped using the hose and bucket method. WAY too much unnecessary water.

This year I tried Chemical Guys waterless wash and wax with small pump sprayer: https://www.chemicalguys.com/ecosmart-concentrated/ecosmart-concentrated.html

I do the whole car with less than 2 pints of water, not gallons, and it works great! Mist it on an area, let it sit for half a minute, wipe it up, done.

After apply some Blazing Banana: https://www.chemicalguys.com/blazin-banana-spray-wax/blazin-banana-spray-wax.html

All these sprays, graphites, waxes are very confusing.

It's difficult as to what to use, all the ads make promises that is difficult to prove.

I wonder if Consumers Report has an evaluation on all these products?

Years ago, I don’t remember who said it, or told me “Use whatever wax goes on and comes off easiest “
DONT get duped into nano micro sphere made with moon dust garbage.
I’ve tried different waxes on cars and boats, boats being the toughest to keep gelcoat shiny, as gelcoat is VERY porus, tried regular car wax, carnuba waxes, Teflon, latest was a ceramic coating on a 34’ offshore boat, it was almost 500 bucks for the materials ( I didn’t buy them, the owner did) I WAS NOT impressed at all, probably didn’t last one season with the sun and rain beating on it.
They ALL eventually wash off, so why spend big bucks and a day breaking your back when lower cost wax does the same thing, and you KNOW you’re going to have to reapply.
A “Quick detailer” spray on coating is fine, spray on, wipe off, your done.
