DUBIUCK Either I've been fat too long but how do you get out of the car after its in there. Nice rig by the way:TU: SR66:TU:
Well, although I started this thread it's taken nearly a year and a half to post a pic of my new truck. The old Dodge looked cool, didn't start well, leaked like a SOB and drove like a tractor. So after Katrina hit I got a new one. The GMC is a good truck, drives nice, well appointed, and I'm getting 16.5 average mileage. Now I just need a trailer to put the cars on and I'm all set to hit the circuit this year. Incidentally, I get the winch part to get it in there but how do you get it back out? I'm a bit weight challenged and curious.
I think I got connection to a place that will install a winch for a good price. I expect to put on some crash bars first onto my truck to support the winch. I'm told maybe i can get it all put together for around 1500 with an 8.5K winch. My property is prone to being wet. So good chance to get stuck, Does this seem a reasonable price for a front winch? The guy I was talking to also mentioned you could get it mounted on a trailer hitch, so you could move it to either end of the truck. Anyone ever hear of that?
