65 lesabre questions.

  1. I'm going to look at this 65 lesabre next weekend(hopefully). If I buy it, I would like to get it rolling to bring it home. Wondering what cars I could search for an easy to bolt in axle, and get a right control arm off of. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This seems to be more difficult than finding information on my 70 skylark, or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places... thanks.

It will be much more difficult than your skylark, much more. Axle should probably be from 64 up to 66 (I think?) full size Buick. Same for front suspension. May want to post over on Buick Club of America site. They usually have something that may work.

  3. Thanks! I found a thread saying 64 to 67(maybe 68) bop 10 bolts are mostly all the same on here. I've had a couple people say a body and b body axles were the same. I was trying to confirm because there is a 67 lemans 10 bolt axle in the area for sale cheap. Cars been listed for 4 months, so we'll see if there's something keeping it from selling.

  4. If anyone is ever looking at one of these, I went and looked at the car today. Seller had the axle, and it's a bop 10 bolt that was in the car.

  5. 10 bolt went in with no issues.
