Yes they look good. I always have an eye out for 75-79 skylarks so I can have spare parts for mine.

  2. Took out the seats to clean the floor. Looks like I finally caught a good break on the Apollo. Floors look great.

I think you and I are the only active X-bodies left.
    What's next on the list?

  5. Well at least Ive got someone to chat with.

I need to get my door hinges replaced and the door seals done. That way I can put in the carpet and finish the rest of the interior.

  6. Door hinge pins and bushings replaced.

Used an A frame ladder and two ratchet straps to hold the door while I punched out the pins. Worked great.

I never would of thought of that. I will remember that, I still have to replace mine.

  8. I've read some guys use an engine hoist. My engine hoist is at a buddies house so I figured why not give the ladder a try. The ladder I used was one of the "little giants". I put the ladder through the window opening. Guess I could've just made it taller and gone over the top of the window frame.

Now that you mention it, my step ladder is to short to go over the door and to tall to go through the window.

  10. 436'd Skylark

    436'd Skylark Sweet Fancy Moses!!!!!

Pretty easy to balance the door on a floor jack and a 2x4.

    Cool! welcome to the X-bodies

  16. Did get any pictures, but I had enough time to get the drivers door weatherstripping on after replacing the master cylinder.

I'm in the middle of selling my Jeep. It's taking more time away from the Apollo than I'd like.
