Do you still ride? I've rode since I was 8 years old. I'm 33 now. Here's my current set up. My 4 kids all like bmx so its family tradition now. 20200816_173542.jpg 20200816_164650.jpg

Neither the car or the ramps are getting used much right now due to weather. 20210113_160142.jpg

Max Damage I'm working on it!

Wow, that is some kind of precision. It certainly looks like you take a pounding even when you don't fall... Thanks for sharing! I am an old skateboarder personally, but destroyed my knee in the 80's...

yup I’m still riding, no new videos... building jumps for my 6 and 8 year olds... 80s style stunts and scraped knees and elbows for them. It’s good for them LOL

That's awesome. I scored a bunch of treated plywood over the summer for $500 and started building more ramps as well. its a family sport for us too. 20220729_165639.jpg

That’s a lot of plywood!!! Awesome! Last time I bought that much wood it overloaded my trailer and bent it, good times. Ended up having a better trailer built though so it worked out nice. Got home and the tongue was way bent lol, oops

I'm sure I was pushing the max on my 10,000 lbs capacity. I built some killer stuff out of this wood this summer. Not just ramps.

#skills. impressive video. My only distant bike connection is that I've met Keith Bontrager and my younger brother worked for him in Santa Cruz in 1993. That was the yr I drove my GS (pre-restored) down Lombard St. San Fran.

Those Bontrager bikes were really cool back in the day! Was your brother a bike mechanic?

his job was machining while he attended UCSC as an Art major. Others welded and brazed and mentored him as he dabbled. Meanwhile I'm butt welding quarters on my GS with a Daytona MIG. Funny how our interests collided. BSEE major vs Art Major.
