Can you ID this Chassis Stamp?

    Hey Fellas -

    Here is a pic of the stamp that was taken on the Driver's Side rail. It's not the clearest, but I think it says 42Z(?)06557 and I'm not having any luck finding a site that can help deciphering the Code.

    Any ideas on what this frame came off of? The only thing I can confirm for sure is it was made in Fremont, CA (Z). Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    1972 Buick frame from Freemont CA. The 6 digits is the last of the vin from the car it came from.

    You need the two digit code stamped on the outside of the drivers side framerail, just behind the rear wheel kickup, to Id the actual application, if that is the info your looking for.
