Knowing you are going fuel injection on a new 464 build ,would that influence your choice of cam versus going carb ?
    Thanks

The only thing you might need to be concerned with is engine vacuum. The bigger you go on a cam, the less vacuum you'll have. I would look at the EFI system requirements for the system you intend to use. They may have different requirements as far as engine vacuum is concerned.

With the modern high end fuel injection you can use any cam you want.

There are still basic EFI for dummies that require a certain amount of vacuum to operate correctly. The more radical engines will still require a system that needs programmed and tuned, like my FAST XFI.

My Fast system required 10" of vacuum. Also on mine, if you use an ignition box, you must use one that doesn't have a rev limiter.

I have the TA 413 cam and a sniper. Runs great.
