1 of 349 factory floor shift 3 speeds GS350's (if its the original tranny). Looks pretty solid.

106 additional GS350's were built as column shift 3-speed

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

    I like it.

I would deep clean the thing, detail the little things as needed, and keep the paint as it is, but preserve and protect it.

It took a few years, but some of the "natural patina" cars are starting to grow on me.

The red under the blue just looks very good on this car.

And shorten those wheelbarrow handles about 40 or 50-ish feet.

Oh I could have a lot of fun with this car. All I need is 3 speeds, why are all the nice cars across the country?

Not too bad… bench converted to 69 buckets, shifter looks like a 5335…

How can you tell it was a bench converted to buckets? Inquiring minds want to know!

I see that the front seats are not the 1968 pattern...

Door panels and rear seat are 68 standard interior pattern and buckets seat cars would have had deluxe interior not standard.

Nice car for an ambitious project. I would upgrade to deluxe blue interior/ add console. Too bad the heads are prone to crack . Still those details would affect the price I would pay. I dont think I would drive it everyday. For one thing midwest winters would tear that up for another someone told me while the sticks are cool after rowing that tranny around they got tired of it. But im still holding onto my manual stuff nonetheless.
