The Minuteman chapter of the BCA is hosting this. Let's hope the weather cooperates. July has absolutely sucked up here.
Marking the calendar! Hey Brett - you going to organize another laid back run somewhere like the one we did to the museum n stuff in RI a while back? Cheers Bob
Oooh, sounds interesting. Maybe I can finally get to a meet. What's with the fire extinguisher. Just need one in the car. Don
Is this still on? Weather say scattered T storms in the PM and I'd have a longish drive home if it got nasty. Cheers Bob
Bob, it's larrylegor@gmail.com not leggor. I'm a Minuteman member. I saw that about the showers, it's like 25% at 2:00 or so. I haven't heard anything about it being cancelled yet. If I hear anything, I'll post. I was just out poking around my car getting it ready. Hope it's on like Kong and I'll see you there!
Ahhhh - that would explain it! Fingers crossed for decent weather. Hope to see you there. Cheers! Bob
Things aren't looking to good weather wise. Fingers are definitely crossed. Wonder if there's a rain date?
Well a stray shower is good enough for me. It's a longish drive so I'll be hitting the road soon. Hopefully I won't be the only one to show up Cheers! Bob
A good turnout and the weather did cooperate! Left early for food and the long drive home but got to see some nice cars. Good to see you again Frank and your very tasty GS! A couple of standouts... What a difference a year made back then. 1960 and 1961 Electra convertibles Now that is a clean engine bay! Yes, I know it's an LS but still . My pick for car of the show. No, not that 72 Electra hiding in the background! Sweet woodie.
Hey Bob, glad you came to the show, it was a decent turnout there. The LS Riv was killer. Another resto mod came in later, a GS, but I think you had left already. Sorry I did not get to talk to you. Your car looked great! Most of that Buick crowd I haven't seen for a long time due to the pandemic. A LOT of Massholes were there. It seemed like 20 minutes at each car catching up with the owners. When we got to your car you weren't there. We kept moving, and when we got back your car was gone. I know you didn't want to ride in the rain for hours, I don't blame you. By the time we left, it was showering a bit. I'm fortunate my car has the rare WW1 option that includes those things that clean the windshield in the rain. Diapers, pipers, snipers? I forget what you call them, but we used them on the way home for a bit. BTW...that tan Buick with the orange wheels in your pic took BOS there.
