Correct lower door panel screws?

    The top one, with the counter sunk screw and the counter sunk cap.

    Thought so. I’ve seen so many with the bottom type I thought I might have been wrong thinking it should be the top one.

    Funny... ALL of my door panels have had the lower one...

    Yeah. There are two previously restored cars here that have the big ones installed.

    The bottom type are typically what is used to attach the rear armrest pieces for a coupe and the rear armrest pieces for a convertible to the side of the car behind the door opening.

    And, as it would appear depending on the year, they were used to install the glove box liners.

    OR to hold the panel to the door when the cardboard behind wasn't too good.

    That is what a lot of guys do as a fix, but that is not what was originally installed.
