Edelbrock choke gasket broke...

    I had to adjust the choke on my Edelbrock and the circle gasket broke. I don't see that sold individual by Edelbrock. I am able to tighten it down, what reason is that gasket for?

    To seal vacuum from the carb. It is nec.

    Crap...it doesnt look like i can get the gasket by itself and a rebuild kit is like $50. Break out the RTV!! :confused:

    i've got like a couple hundred of those gaskets saved - for some reason ?
    mostly holley but should be some edelbrocks in there also .
    let me have an address ( usa ) and i'll send ya one or two .

    If it's an original electric choke carb there shouldn't be vacuum in the choke housing, also there will not be a circle gasket. The electric choke cover needs to ground through the housing.
