Roger is a good friend as well and the only one Pop's ever let race ole blue and My GSX, We are hoping to have them both at Cecil County Dragstrip on September 11th, God willing.
I know I have the info somewhere, but what is the breakdown of the 678 between QQ and 10-10 cars? I know there are far more QQ cars, just can't remember the numbers.
Had one but sold it in a weak moment to the Overhaulin' paint shop guy who gave it a rotisserie and flipped it. Can't hardly believe it is seven years ago already.
Well Jason timming is everything. Sadly You just missed my Dads 10-10 stage auto we are getting ready to put on market. But hell, you did get a stage QQ 4 gear! (I have the same car). My Dad is now 81 and sadley is in advanced stages of Dementia and my mother called last week and said it is time to sell the Apollo X to help fund the care he will need. I doubt your still in the market but I thought I would put it out there. Has been here in Alaska since 03 when he got it out of Texas. Maching Block and I will have to check all the rest. Very nice driver with older paint but still looks nice. Drives out very well, actually better then my frame up QQ X. We rebuilt the front end 18 years ago and did a firewall forward underhood resto. Dad was not a factory type stock guy and could care less so he had headers and a MSD, but nothing major that could not be corrected in a couple weekends if your a stock factory type person. Car has zero rust and very dry. Motor was rebuilt about 18 years ago as well and I doubt there is 100 miles on the car in past 18 years. He seamed to like to drive his GN more and his 68 4 speed. Ill have to disscuss with my mother what she would take but it will be at a price to sell, not a give away but reasonable money. We are up in Alaska and it is not hard for me to get a car to Seattle and go from there. I may Just Ship it down to my Buddy Dave Knutsen so it will be closer to buyers. Thanks.. Wish I was in the market & sorry to hear about your Dad. Sounds like a great car to be able to buy/drive/enjoy & restore someday if desired - Stage 1 or Std. 455 & orig. engine/trans? A/C? Feel free to PM as I realize this isn't a for sale ad per se but it sure does sound interesting although I'd probably have to sell my Stage1 4-sp.
Sorry to hear lol..I have to make room for our 10-10 4 speed stage car which is shipping soon, wife says (as usual) something has to go. Enjoy your new ride, Gord
Update on Dads white stage x. Mom Sold the car to a Family friend in New York. Thank you to all that messaged me. Sorry that I did not have 6 or 7 to sell to all you that were interseted. The Selling price was 90K for all you that would be curiouse about the sale. I appricate all of you I spoke with and the Buick community, Dennis
