I just weighed my spreadbore iron manifold it weighed 31.4 pounds. I’ve been running my TA spreadbore manifold since May with a stock 1966 Rochester send to have picked up about .15 tenths over the stock cast iron spreadbore with the same carburetor. I’m going to be changing to a 800cfm rochester next time I go to the track

Starc how much paint was on your iron intake? Mine is sandblasted and still bare at 30.1 lbs:)

The cast ones feel heavier than that when carrying them that’s for sure!

They feel way heavier when you're leaning over an engine bay at full back and arm extension. Especially at the end of the day.

Update: It's September now and I'm still waiting. I guess that there are production issues.

Is anyone running one of these? Any Dyno results or strip times?

He’ll probably chime in but I think he’s picked up a little more ET since that old post.

Hell I felt it in my wildcat. It will move out. It looks great and works well with my setup.

Thanks. When they become available I'll have to pick one up for when I have to rebuild the engine one day.

Yup. I have pretty much given up. I think I will put my dual-quad setup together and see how it works. At least it will look good!

Update: It's almost October. I ordered my manifold in June of 2022. TA has not contacted me.

just received a phone call from TA performance telling me that my intake will be ready soon to call back by end of January to reserve my order , what a surprise.

I just got off the phone with them and they are $ 495 + s/h. they ship out in a couple of weeks or so, I ask the nice lady about performance numbers and all she could tell me was yes it's lighter and there was better performance numbers with it , for what that is worth. Would like to see what those numbers are, hate to think i'm buying $ 500 to take off 40 lbs. only

Which style did you order standard or Qjet?

I did too. I paid for it today as well, and they are also shipping me the intake manifold steel gaskets. What makes this really strange is I received a call last week that the Model T Ford starter that I ordered a year and a half ago is back in stock, and they are shipping it very soon.

I bought the what they call is the Holley version which also accepts a Edelbrock carburetor. sure wish they had some flow numbers to go along with their marketing.
