This is a real Buick police car that was once owned by a Route 66 museum. The car features the original 322 Fireball V8, automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. All the polices options come with it including working lights and siren. Also included with it are the shotgun rack, portable radiio, aftermarket swamp cooler, and huge whip antenna. Body and interior are in good condition. Paint is a little faded (being black and white), but no noticeable dents or scratches. Interior has no tears and is in great shape in black and white trim. The chrome is in fairly good shape with a little pitting on the taillights.. Engine and transmission run strong and the car drive great. It even has original California black plates $13,000 Call, email or text me, Jason, with any questions.
That is way cool. One could get into a lot of trouble with something like that. So how is the car price wise? I have no clue how being an ex police car would affect the price.
Buick ? Maybe it was the Chiefs car. Looks like the guy likes cool things. Check out that stagecoach.
Police cars back in the day were not always bought as a Police package in contracts . Sometimes small police departments just bought suitable cars at the local dealerships .
It not being an actual ex police car would not be a deal breaker for me. Unless being legit somehow increases the price (I don't think it does).
Just to show here is a list of cars used by NJ highway patrol under the DMV but not to be confused with New Jersey State Police . They were a smaller co- enforcement department later absorbed in 80s by The NJSP
