Today I started my 1960 lesabre up, and when I turned the key to the on position, a buzzer goes off and will not stop. I drove the car for 40 minutesal, and the buzzer never turned off. As long as the key is in the on position, the buzzer will not go off. Does anyone know how to fix this, and what is going on? Thanks!

The only buzzer on a 60 Buick is the speed alert. Adjust the speed minder/alert higher. Do you know where that is?

I had that happen on my 61. I just disconnected it. Right up near the column under the dash. It's on my list to fix as i love it

In’59- the minimum Speed Minder setting is, I believe, 25 mph. So if it’s buzzing at a stop, something is probably amiss in the speedo... or what/wherever the speed change triggers the buzzer. But yeah; unplug it for now. That’s it; next to the steering column support bolts:

Check and see if its not the Voltage Regulator buzzing . I had it happen on my car . What caused it was a bad connection at the Alternator .

Hey everyone, I thought I fixed the problem by just turning the speed alert dial. It worked for a little bit, but now it won't turn off again, where do you disconect it at, what does it look like thanks!
